Dr. Jennifer Clift is a licensed clinical psychologist who graduated from The George Washington University in 2010 and has been licensed in New York since 2011. She has experience working in various outpatient settings including community medical and mental health centers, college counseling centers, and schools.  
Dr. Clift works with adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples. She treats a range of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship stressors, difficulty managing life transitions, identity and self-esteem issues, and trauma. Dr. Clift has an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to the specific needs and goals identified by each patient. She uses evidence based methods from cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and dialectical behavior therapies; as well as mindfulness and motivational interviewing. Through warmth, sincerity, and humor, Dr. Clift aims to create a comfortable and collaborative environment where patients can develop effective coping strategies, insight, and self awareness to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Dr. Julie Taub

Licensed Psychologist 


Dr. Taub is a licensed psychologist who works with individuals and couples to help clients with a variety of presenting issues.  In her approach to therapy, she strives to help clients understand the underlying thought processes and motivations that are informing their current state in order to start the process of change. She works to provide authentic, genuine feedback in a direct and supportive way to guide clients to both accept themselves and change in order to move forward in their interpersonal lives. 
Dr. Taub's therapeutic techniques are informed by the needs of her clients and draws from  psychodynamic models as well as cognitive behavioral therapy and integrates dialectical behavioral therapy. Her professional experiences include working with diverse populations with a variety of issues including: working with young adults who struggle with general adjustment issues, body image, relationship and identity issues, as well as individuals with anxiety, symptoms of depression and mood disorders. Dr. Taub is currently accepting individuals and couples in our Westchester County location only. 



Brina Teitz, LMHC

Brina is a licensed mental health counselor based in New York City. Her clinical experiences have included a variety of outpatient settings including a school-based mental health and community based clinics. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, adults and families to help them overcome challenges and strive to heal.  Brina utilizes an integrative approach that is based on mindfulness, psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive behavioral techniques.  Brina aims to engage all clients from an open, empathic, and nonjudgmental perspective, Brina is committed to her client's progress, and being an active participant in their personal growth. Brina is currently accepting new clients for virtual sessions, and is open to adolescent and adult clients. 

Dr. Leslie Ellen Ackerman

President and Licensed Psychologist 


Dr. Leslie Ackerman’s approach to treatment is integrative with a strong emphasis on interpersonal therapy. She is versed in cognitive behavioral therapy and trained in dialectal behavioral therapy, as well as family based interventions including positive parenting approaches and skills training. She provides individual therapy emphasizing the use of coping skills and concrete tools to help her patients make progress toward their goals and decrease experienced distress. Dr. Ackerman’s clinical experiences include working with individuals of all ages including: children and their families, from newborn to young adults; adult clientele; and the geriatric population. She has extensive experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments with children and adolescents. Dr. Ackerman provides psychotherapy and psychological evaluations to individuals with presenting issues such as general adjustment difficulties, anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, trauma, and behavioral disorders and ADHD.
